Cause You Care, (The Recording)

 

Cause you care, was written and produced by Craig Bolyard, (Platinum Horseshoe Music) for Nita Jean’s  album, From Here To Ever. Cause you care, stands as a testament and dedication to those whose love is eternal and forever.

Cause You Care, used a Taylor 12 string for the guitar solo work and rhythm foundation.  The melody was written for Nita’s vocal range, given that she would double track and harmonized with the lead vocal track.

Cause You Care leans on Nita’s ability to harmonize with her double tracked lead vocals.

​

The recording’s guitar solo was also performed with an amplified guitar/amp rig, using octaves,  call and response, and vocal line tag styles.  (The guitar solo was recorded with one rehearsal play through.)

Cause You Care benefited from the samples of Steinberg’s plugin, Studio Drummer.  However, the greater whole of the song was recorded to sound spontaneous and live.  A Fender Precision Bass pushed the bass from lower note registers.

​

Nita rehearsed and recorded Cause You Care in two (three hour) sessions.
