The album From here to Forever

The accomplishments of Nita’s vocalization are many.  She is dedicated, and aspires for new and greater spaces involving vocal embellishments while recordings and performing live with others. To that end, Nita found the production of From Here to Forever an avenue paralleling her interest in recording pop music. She was enlisted to record the primary vocal parts for the album.

The vocal effort by Nita lead vocals, consisted of preforming the primary lead melody's.  Recording-by-recording, her efforts involved capturing the spirit of each recording.  Her efforts involved scratch tracking, weaving melodic lines with lyrics, rehearsing those efforts, and finally performing the master tracking.

Nita’s vocals on From Here To Forever, were recorded in a DAW environment, (Steinberg Nuendo), but with out compression, limiting and other tools used generally by vocalists involved in master tracking.  Additionally, post production, did the same.  Nita’s voice on the album sounds as it was recorded. Microphone to the mastering lab.

Return To Forever, double tracked many of the primary vocal efforts by Nita.  Additionally, Nita harmonized on secondary tracks, creating  a robust pop-music sound. All recording on the album were performed by Nita, except the ending of Take My Breath Away, where a single harmony was tracked by a good friend of Nita’s. All double tracking-timing on the album and tonality stands as it was recorded, not embellished or altered in the DAW environment.  Those involved with the project appreciated her ability to accurately double track, adding to the expanded sound to the recordings.

As the album progressed, recording after recording, Nita's professionalism and talent were consistent, proved that her dedication and love for vocalization, helped not only her image as a vocalist, but all others involved in the development of the album, From Here To Forever.
